We are looking for a Managing Director to lead and drive the development of LAPP Miltronics operating in both Sweden and Denmark, as well as Fleximark, which operates in Sweden. This is a central leadership role that combines full business responsibility with strong local presence and close collaboration within an international, family-owned industrial group. The role has a clear commercial mandate and a strong focus on sales, growth, and corporate culture.
LAPP Miltronic in Sweden and Denmark combines one of the market's broadest ranges of cables, electrical components, and automation products with high technical expertise and qualified advice. The company was founded in Stockholm in 1965 but is today a wholly-owned subsidiary of the German LAPP Group and serves as the group's sales company in the Swedish and Danish markets.
Our headquarters is located in Nyköping, where we also have warehousing, logistics center, and customized manufacturing. Next to LAPP Miltronic is the sister company Fleximark, founded in 1978 and acquired in 1991 by Miltronic. Fleximark is the group's production company for FLEXIMARK® labeling systems and supplies the market with labeling systems, labels, and accessories. A local office for the Danish market is located in Greve, south of Copenhagen. The companies generate approximately 600 MSEK in revenue and have 100 employees.
About the role
As Managing Director, you will have full legal, operational, and commercial responsibility for both Sweden and Denmark. You will lead LAPP Miltronic and the sister company Fleximark with a clear mandate to drive profitable growth, strengthen the commercial agenda, and develop a sales-driven and customer-focused culture.
You are responsible for coordinating structures, systems, and working methods in line with the “One LAPP” approach, while respecting local cultures and established operations. The role includes full profit responsibility as well as operational and personnel responsibility. You are expected to have a visible and hands-on presence in Sweden, including production and warehousing, as well as regular presence in Denmark. As part of the management team for the Nordic cluster, you will represent Sweden and Denmark and actively contribute to strategic discussions, decision-making, and implementation.
Main responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Swedish operations and the Danish sales company with full profit responsibility as well as operational and personnel responsibility
- Drive commercial growth with a strong focus on sales results, customer development, and profitability
- Be a visible leader with close collaboration with customers, sales teams, production, and logistics
- Develop and strengthen a performance-oriented, sales-driven, and customer-centered corporate culture
- Lead organizational development and improvements of structures, systems, and processes
- Ensure effective implementation within sales, operations, production, and supply chain
- Represent Sweden and Denmark within the Nordic cluster and actively contribute to strategy and implementation
About you
You are a confident and business-driven leader with a strong commercial mindset and solid experience from industrial B2B environments. You have a clear background in sales-driven organizations and are comfortable working closely with customers, leading commercial teams, and driving growth.
You have experience from international organizations, preferably within structured or matrix-managed groups, and are used to balancing local responsibility with corporate strategy. A technical or engineering background is highly valued and enhances your credibility in dialogue with customers, production, and corporate functions.
As a leader, you are clear, engaged, and people-oriented. You believe that a strong culture, clear direction, and accountability create results. You are comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions, and leading change while building engagement and collaboration across team, functional, and national borders.
